Church Ministry

Evangelist Ed Dunlop has a unique ministry of Evangelism and Christian Education — reaching children, teens and adults through crusades in local Baptist churches and summer camps, and equipping teachers with books and training seminars. Ed’s messages incorporate PowerPoint and other visual media. Gospel illusions, ventriloquism, crowd challenges, and interactive Bible games bring the programs to life for all ages.

Evangelist Ed Dunlop served as Christian Education Director in Baptist churches in Arizona, California and Tennessee, and traveled as a children’s evangelist for more than thirty years, giving him thirty-nine years of experience in children’s ministry. In addition to his writing ministry, Ed conducts teacher-training seminars in local Baptist churches to share methods and ideas with other teachers. PowerPoint visuals and handouts help the attendees remember and utilize the principles they have learned.

Ed covers topics such as:

  • Presenting the Gospel to Children

  • Giving a salvation invitation

  • Dealing with children at the altar

  • Teaching with visual aids

  • Holding the attention of today’s child

  • The Seven Laws of Teaching

  • Teaching with Bible Games

  • Effective bus visitation

Typically, the seminar takes place on Saturday. A suggested seminar schedule is four hours with a half-hour break for lunch. We suggest that you invite other fundamental churches in your area and provide lunch. To obtain maximum participation from area churches, charge a ten-dollar entrance fee and tell them lunch is provided (don’t charge your own people). Most churches have Ed stay over the weekend and preach in the Sunday services.
